Zay’vion Ni Seah Dajour Jackson Taken into Custody, Accused in Deadly Shooting on Hardwick Drive Resulting in the Death of Dantwan

 Authorities in Bibb County have reported the apprehension of an 18-year-old suspect linked to a deadly shooting that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old male in south Macon. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on January 17, 2026, that Zay’vion Ni Seah Dajour Jackson has been arrested following a fatal incident that took place on Hardwick Drive the night before.



The shooting happened on Friday, January 16, 2026, creating distress in the Hardwick Drive area and resulting in one young man's death and another individual suffering severe injuries. When deputies responded to the sound of gunshots, they discovered 19-year-old Dantwan Wynes with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite attempts by emergency responders, Wynes was declared deceased at the location.
