In spite of his battle with Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP), which is a rare and terminal skeletal disorder, Jude’s tenacity, spirit, and joy created an enduring impact that transcended his young age.

Jude was born and raised in Kannapolis, and he received his RCDP diagnosis just two days after birth. Initially, physicians predicted he would survive only a few weeks, yet Jude surpassed all expectations. Over the span of eleven years, he faced numerous medical hurdles with remarkable bravery, motivating all those who witnessed his story. His family fondly nicknamed him their “Brave Little Warrior,” a title that became synonymous with hope and determination.

Jude’s parents, Hannah and Sully Peters, began to share his journey online through a Facebook page named Praying for Jude Sullivan Peters.
