Fletcher Harris gained recognition for his dedication to both sports and academics, thriving in both athletic and educational environments. An exceptional goalkeeper, he exhibited composure, discipline, and tenacity, earning chances to compete at elevated levels. Throughout his short collegiate experience, he participated in three games, including matches against prominent teams such as No. 18 Lincoln Memorial on September 21 and No. 6 Limestone on September 29. In the match versus Limestone, Fletcher played the entire second half, highlighting the confidence his coaches had in him and his readiness to handle high-pressure situations.

A significant achievement in Fletcher's early career occurred on October 22, when he made his first collegiate save during a dominant 7–1 win over Virginia State. This success represented not only his improving abilities as a goalkeeper but also his consistent dedication and determination. Both coaches and teammates frequently commended Fletcher for his readiness, his helpfulness towards others, and his desire for self-improvement.

Before moving on to college sports, Fletcher was a distinguished three-sport participant at Bandys High School.
