 A Sunday evening drive in rural Mayes County, Oklahoma ended in tragedy after a 23-year-old Pryor woman lost her life in a single-vehicle crash that investigators say remains under active review as authorities work to understand why her vehicle suddenly left the roadway on a quiet county road.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 8 p.m. along County Road E620.
