Robert Depew Remembered After Deadly I-70 to I-675 Ramp Motorcycle Crash in Clark County

 A 68-year-old Middletown man has died following a motorcycle crash on a highway ramp near Springfield in Clark County, Ohio, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened Saturday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. on the ramp from Interstate 70 eastbound to Interstate 675 southbound in Mad River Township. Investigators reported that Robert Depew was riding his motorcycle when he approached a curve on the ramp and lost control.

According to the preliminary findings, the motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene after receiving reports of a serious crash involving a single motorcycle.

Depew was transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care, but despite efforts by medical personnel, he later died from his injuries.
